Fancy Bubbles on the National Austria Day 2025
On 26 October 2025, the Austria National Day, our Fancy Bubbles team took part in a very special event right in the heart of Vienna. At the entrance to the Burggarten, just off the Burgring, Egor and Vera Hahuleac joined a public awareness campaign about human rights, hosted by Youth for Human Rights Austria, the local chapter of the international initiative Youth for Human Rights International.

A CREATIVE CONTRIBUTION ON AUSTRIA’S NATIONAL DAY
For years, the organization has been creating educational and artistic projects throughout Austria — bringing Art for Human Rights into schools, communities, and public spaces, and showing that awareness can be shared in a creative and human way.
Raising awareness through creativity
The goal of the event was to engage people with the topic of human rights through friendly conversation and creativity. The Burgring area was lively — families, tourists, and visitors enjoying the National Day atmosphere — a perfect place to connect with the public.
Together with other volunteers, we handed out leaflets on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and invited people to sign in support of their protection and promotion. Many stopped, asked thoughtful questions, and stayed to talk — proving that awareness often begins with a genuine human encounter, not a formal speech.
Art as a universal language
For us at Fancy Bubbles, this wasn’t a usual performance. It was a quiet form of artistic activism in Vienna — using art as a bridge between curiosity and understanding.
Egor performed a live bubble art show: light, glowing shapes moving gently through the air, drawing attention without a single word. Vera added colour and joy through children’s face painting, creating small moments of happiness that brought families closer to the stand.
Between soap bubbles and paint, real conversations began. Children smiled, parents asked questions, and strangers shared stories. It was a reminder that awareness grows best in spaces where people feel welcome, creative, and connected.
Why on Austria’s National Day?
Austria’s National Day is a time when the city of Vienna fills with celebration. Around the Heldenplatz, Hofburg, and Burgring, visitors explore open-air exhibitions, live music, and cultural displays. The day stands for Austria’s peace, neutrality, and democratic values — a perfect moment to talk about freedom, equality, and shared responsibility.
We wanted to show that human rights are not something distant or abstract. They begin here, in everyday life — in schools, families, and neighbourhoods.
Every small act of respect, every moment of kindness, adds up to something greater.

Art with meaning
Usually, people know Fancy Bubbles from our shows across Austria — from family celebrations to weddings, corporate events, and festivals. But this day was different. There was no stage or spotlight, no performance fee — only an open space, shared purpose, and art with meaning.
We believe that entertainment can do more than just amuse — it can connect, inspire, and invite reflection. Art for Human Rights means using creativity not only for beauty, but also for empathy.
And in a world where so many topics divide people, even a simple act of creative expression can build bridges.
Conclusion
Our participation in the Youth for Human Rights Austria campaign on Austria National Day 2025 was a small, yet heartfelt contribution to a larger cause.
It showed that human rights live not only in official documents but in every respectful gesture, every open smile, and every shared conversation.
We are grateful to everyone who stopped, listened, or signed in support.
For us at Fancy Bubbles, this day reaffirmed what we deeply believe: art can be joyful and meaningful at the same time — a language of kindness that everyone understands.
